Whenever one of the following symptoms happens:
- PC shuts down,
- PC freezes,
- BIOS crashes,
- or blue screen occurs,
it usually means there's a driver conflict, a hardware failure, or an operating system error. PC apps, other than drivers, can't completely shut down a PC. The operating system prevents it by closing the app in case of errors.
To resolve PC crashes, please try the following solutions:
- Update your Windows.
- Update your CPU drivers, GPU drivers, and other drivers (GeForce drivers; AMD drivers; Intel drivers; etc.).
- Rollback or disable drivers - sometimes, the latest drivers may be unstable.
- Don't overclock your GPU. If your GPU is overclocked, reset it to default settings. Sometimes, graphic cards come factory-overclocked and it is necessary to reset them manually.
- Run various diagnostic tools.
- Scan for malware.
- Check disk usage.
- Check guides for specific Windows stop codes.
- Restart your PC in Safe Mode.
- Follow error guides by Microsoft, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and other hardware providers:
